G Drive is now pass plus registered
Pass Plus is a practical training course that takes at least 6 hours and is for drivers to improve their skills and drive more safely.
A pass plus course can benefit anyone on the roads and can be taken any time after you have passed.
It is mostly beneficial to new drivers to give them that extra experience and confidence in situations you won't have necessarily experienced in your lessons. Completing a pass plus course within the first year of passing your test could also save you £'s on your car insurance.
Pass Plus training is taught in 6 modules, covering driving:
- In town
- In all weathers
- On rural roads
- At night
- On dual carriageways
- On motorways
All modules should ideally be completed out on the roads, however, local conditions, such as the weather may mean some are theory based. To pass you’ll have to reach the required standard in all modules, this will be assessed throughout the course rather than taking a final exam at the end.
